Invisalign Clear Aligners
Terms and conditions for Invisalign clear aligners - all patients are made aware that orthodontic treatment, including that using clear aligners, poses potential risks and has limitations. It is not an exact science, the treatment plan may change depending on the movement of the teeth.

In the rare cases that the teeth are not moving as quickly as expected, the patient may need to undertake multiple new impressions with the dentist to create a new set of aligners for changing treatment plans.

Patients will have to agree to wear the aligners for minimum 22 hours per day and visit the surgery every 2-3 weeks for the new set of aligners or new impressions. Failure to wear the appliances for minimum 22 hours a day will result in the teeth not moving as expected.

Gums, teeth and lips may be scratched when removing the aligners and attachments will need to be placed on the teeth and removed as necessary as the patient moves through the treatment plan.

Before the treatment commences patients will be required to sign an informed consent that states although the treatment is very successful in most cases, you understand there are no guarantees with this type of treatment and that no guarantees have been given to you regarding the specific outcome of your treatment.

After the diagnostic session has been completed, the total price has been accepted by the patient and all consent forms are signed there is a 14 day cooling off period where the patient can cancel their treatment. Following the 14 day cooling off period, there are no refunds offered on Invisalign treatments (neither partial or full refunds) once the treatment plan has commenced whether payment that has been taken in full or on monthly repayments via Tabeo finance.

A £250 deposit is required for the diagnostic session this is non refundable and covers the cost to the practice for the lab fee from Invisalign.

If the treatment plan takes much longer than expected with multiple changes and extra appointments - Smile Tech Dental & Implant Centre will not charge the patient any extra for these appointments / impressions / aligners.

Patients undertaking Invisalign are offered a free scale and polish and teeth whitening, if the treatment plan has not been paid for and does not go ahead patients cannot redeem the free treatments separately.
